Jonathon Goldrath is an entrepreneur and investor who moved away from the traditional finance world and into the legal cannabis industry in 2016. His experience in the cannabis industry started as an operator - winning one of Pennsylvania’s first twelve cannabis Grower/Processor licenses in 2017. Jonathon went on to co-found a number of cannabis businesses that have been some of the first of their kind across the country. After selling the majority of his operational business holdings in 2019, Jonathon returned to investing with a focus on lending within the cannabis industry. This transition was helped by his experience as a business owner and operator as well as his time spent in finance prior to cannabis. Jonathon is currently a Partner at FocusGrowth Asset Management and 317 Opportunities. He continues to serve as an advisor or director for Deseret Wellness, Local Dispensaries, and Standard Farms Ohio. Before entering the cannabis industry, Jonathon was a Senior Analyst at Wingspan Investment Management in New York and a Vice President at Fortress Investment Group working in the company’s San Francisco, New York, and London offices.
