Jonathon Goldrath is an entrepreneur and investor who moved from traditional finance into the legal cannabis industry in 2016. He began as an operator—winning one of Pennsylvania’s first twelve cannabis Grower/Processor licenses in 2017—and went on to stand up a number of other businesses in the space including five additional operating businesses, a large lending platform and a financial advisory business.

After selling the majority of his operational holdings in 2019-2021, Jonathon shifted to lending within the cannabis industry, founding FocusGrowth in 2020, where he drew on his experience as both a business owner and finance professional. Today, he is a partner at FG Advisors LLC, a credit-focused advisory business.

Prior to his work in cannabis, Jonathon served as a Senior Analyst at Wingspan Investment Management in New York and as a Vice President at Fortress Investment Group, working in the firm’s San Francisco, New York, and London offices.
